when i think about things capturing my attention i think of things that stand out, things such as big words, bold words, words ive never seen before and words that you wouldnt normally say.

another thing thats grabs my attention would be pictures, pictures tell 1000 words, and by looking at one picture you can tell what the story is going to be about, and when the picture is interesting it makes you want to read the article that goes along with it.

 the style of writing and the colours used can also attract you to an article, if it looks really fun and interesting to read of course your going to read it, if its just dull and long, long paragraphs your not going to be interested in reading the whole thing because you get bored and loose intrest easily.

 another thing that attracts me to an article would be the way its writen, if it had very strong language use and is all postive or all negative it makes you think about it and go ‘oh yeah thats a good idea’ or ‘oh i never thought about it like that before’ and can change your veiws on certain things which can be a good thing.

 music, on television there are many ads which use music to attract people, and i think it works cause if you see an really catchy ad with a catch tune its always in your head and makes you think about the product and want it, such as the coca cola ad, so music can have a big impact.

 and thats my thoughts on what attracts me to certain things in the meadia.

 how have you gone in your various subjects and what do you want to do once you have finished?

apart from english, ive done pretty well in all my other subjects, theres none i really dont like.. apart from economics, im so glad im dropping it next year.

when i leave school after year 12 next year, i would like to do something in fashion, fashion designer would be great but thats really hard to get into, and i dont think i would be good enough to do it

what do you wish you had done better?

this year i think i could have payed more attention in classes, and maybe did more homework and studied more.

i did pretty well in my exams last semester but not as good as i could have done, and all the my studying was last minute so think semester i think i will start to study earlier to do better =]
